I spent some time recently with my friend who is an assistant racehorse trainer here in Mauritius and he allowed me to photograph these beautiful animals at the beach, practising on the track and at the stables.  As I am going to need to devote some time to finding my way in my new stomping ground in South Africa, I have decided to do a three part series of “The wind of heaven” images and hopefully by the time the last post is published I will be well ensconced in our new home in Mossel Bay with my Dear One and my furry kids Paddington, Ruby and Patchouli and able to pick up the blogging reins again (aw c’mon I HAD to use that pun!).
