“She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbor:
“Winter is dead.”
― A.A. Milne, When We Were Very Young
I know I’ve been quiet.
Long time no write and all that.
I’ve been in mourning. My computer died, R.I.P Toshiba.
It has taken some time to get a new computer, recover lost information, reload the programs, Spring clean the filing system but it’s been more than that, a time of introspection and quiet aha! moments for me.
I feel different.
I’m not ready yet to dive headfirst into everything again but in the meantime, the first day of September heralds the beginning of Spring in South Africa. My wish for all of you is that this is the best Spring you’ve ever experienced. HAPPY SPRING DAY!
I haven’t gone away. Just sitting on the steps by the back door, thinking about stuff.
All my love

🙂 Thanks so much for the lovely compliment, that’s the look and style I’m going for clean classic looking images, I process all my images in lightroom and my fave lens is my Canon f/1.4 50mm, stunning, stunning glass. As for Mr Paddington, whenever the dogs hang around the kitchen they look expectant, hoping to pick up any titbits I may drop on the floor while cooking!
