Hello my lovely peeps! Besides being away with the faeries for a while, I’ve been playing around with light and shadows in my photography, my 24mm pancake lens and black and white image editing conversions recently.
I’m kinda leaning towards the high key type black and whites like the three above. I really like the first image of Paddy, he is such a clown that dog, he often reminds me of the crazy dog in Scooby-Doo.

My choice on the black and white or color: Black and White. I love the color as well (he’s so gorgeous), but you know me. I love monochrome! I love your exploration. Love the kitty on the table image too!

Beautiful pictures as always – and I do like the black and white – but Paddy is such a beautiful warm colour – its a bit lost in b&w.

Thanks Stephen, the high key ones are fun but you’re right he is better in colour. Thanks for commenting xxx

Which do I prefer? Colour always colour. Why? because with Ruby you can see the colour of her eyes and the grey around her mouth and from this you can deduce that like the rest of us she is growing old gracefully. With Paddington you can see the the different shading in his coat, his beautiful eyelashes and the lovely dark shading around his eyes. xx

Thanks Maurie, for the lovely comment. I also think you’re a little bit biased about golden retrievers. Wink, wink, say no more 🙂
