This is the second photoshoot I’ve done with this sweet family and when I’m done culling and editing the session, I sit the Mom down and show her a slideshow preview of her images.
About 90 seconds into the slideshow she begins to weep; tears of love and gratitude for this miracle child, this much longed for baby she thought she would never have.
When I see how overwhelmed and happy she is with the photographs, I know this work is truly worthwhile and meaningful and now I want to cry and it all gets a bit emotional really. All feel good tears though, nothing a couple of tissues and a good blow of the nose can’t remedy.
Papa is a HUGE man who could squish anyone without breaking a sweat but he is very tightly wound around his daughter’s tiny finger.
She is full of energy and bounce, ready to run, jump and play at the merest hint of encouragement. I’m so envious of her blatant joie de vivre, if I could bottle it, I swear I’d make a fortune!
