#GENEROSITY. It's sad to see sometimes how terrified some people are of sharing and giving without expecting anything in return. I'm not even talking about money or possessions here people. I'm talking about time, knowledge, energy, love.⁠ ⁠ It's astonishing how these same people, who refuse to give, expect the world to share with them while they greedily grasp whatever they can get and clutch it tightly to their chests. Gimme, gimme, gimme. Mine, mine, mine. My Precioussssssss......⁠ ⁠ I don't believe the world works like that. If you want to receive more, you need to give more but the secret is to do it with NO STRINGS ATTACHED, do not expect anything back, just give.⁠ ⁠ Try liking somebody's instagram or FB post just because you really like it, not because you want a reciprocal like on your post.⁠ ⁠ Share that chocolate cupcake recipe with people who love your baking instead of guarding it like it's some kind of valuable family heirloom. Keeping the recipe a secret doesn't make you special, it makes you specially selfish.⁠ ⁠ Photographers! When a beginner photographer approaches you for a little advice don't hop on your high horse and allow your ego to take over. Help a little. I'm not saying let the whole world pick your brain until just the bare bones are left but be kind and help a little, you were a beginner once too.⁠ ⁠ Or when another photographer reaches out and want to get together with you, or asks about your shooting or editing process, stop feeling so threatened and suspicious, there's plenty of work for everyone. ⁠ ⁠ Photography is a lonely business and it's good to be able share some time and tips with one or two like minded people.⁠ ⁠ In the spirit of giving, ask me anything photography related and I'll do my best to answer you.
