Pet Photography – Eddie and his Human

I have a post crammed full of images for you this week as during my shoot I ended up photographing not 1 but 5 pets!

Last week I had the privilege of doing a photo shoot with Eddie (the service dog) and Pieter (his human).  Eddie and Pieter have been together since August this year and as you can see from the images that follow, they are a match made in heaven.  Eddie has changed his human’s life in so many ways, in Pieter’s own words, “Eddie has opened a new door in my life and I cannot put into words what he means to me. ”

Besides other things, part of Eddie job is to retrieve items for Pieter like keys or the tv remote control, he can also open and close doors and call for help if Pieter is unable to do so.

I didn’t realise that I would have so many pets to photograph, Eddie lives with  4 cats and two other dogs and of course I couldn’t resist …

People leave imprints on our lives, shaping who we become in much the same way that a symbol is pressed into the page of a book to tell you who it comes from. Dogs, however, leave paw prints on our lives and our souls, which are as unique as fingerprints in every way. – Ashly Lorenzana
