Spiders Fings

Perfect little dew droplets
suspended by chance
like baubles on a Christmas tree
await their turn to dance

I have a beautiful Polish friend called Magda aka Magski and one of the most endearing things about Magski is the way she pronounces some English words with her cute Polish accent.  Now don’t get me wrong, she is nobody’s fool and one very smart cookie with an affinity for languages, she can speak Polish (obviously), French, Italian and English.

One of my favorite words she used to say was “Amazink”, lot of things were “Amanzink” to Magda but idiot that I am, I made the fatal error of correcting her and now she says “Amazing” which doesn’t sound nearly as delightful.  One day at a loss to find the English word for webs she called them “Spiders Fings”, that girl is adorable!

Anyway, here are some images of “Spiders Fings” that I took early this morning in our back yard.
