Cultivating an attitude of gratitude

Gratitude is an opener of locked-up blessings.

Marianne Williamson

Whenever I fall into the bad habit of complaining and whingeing about my life the quickest antidote is to take a slow walk in the countryside, making an extra effort to pay attention to all the beautiful things nature has to offer.  Wild flowers, buck, bird song and sometimes even a little brown rabbit.

The sharp wind blowing over the sea enters through my nose and spins around the inside of my head like a whirling dervish, spring cleaning my mind, scrubbing it shiny and free from negative thoughts.

Helping me to cultivate the very necessary attitude of gratitude.

All my love
