This is Ben, he is a big dog with a big heart, the feisty tan coloured dog is Simon, they are the best of friends.
Sometimes Ben has sleepovers at Simon’s house when his human has to go out of town. Ben misses his human a lot, this sometimes makes him sad and melancholy.
Simon’s remedy is to “Go to the beach and run and play until the sadness goes away!”, as you can see, it works.
Sometimes a dog, is a dog’s best friend.
“I believe in integrity. Dogs have it. Humans are sometimes lacking it.”
― Cesar Millan
“Unlike man, a dog lives every moment and dies only once.”
― Tapan Ghosh
“They picked up shells and sea glass, pebbles smooth and white. The wind blew and the surf hissed warm over their toes, sucked the sand from under their soles. The rhythm, the pulse of the sea soothed and electrified.”
― Terri-Lynne DeFino, The Bar Harbor Retirement Home for Famous Writers
“Sometimes you’re sure dogs have some secret, superior intelligence, and other times you know they’re only their simple, goofy selves.”
― Deb Caletti, The Six Rules of Maybe
“Gentle swells had replaced the angry waves of yesterday. The gentle breakers made their way to shore glinting with green as they somersaulted to shore. The waves showed an edge of lacy foam that caressed the sand. It was peaceful.”
― Sharon Brubaker, Between Earth and Sea: A Selkie Tale
“I sometimes look into the face of my dog Stan and see a wistful sadness and existential angst, when all he is actually doing is slowly scanning the ceiling for flies.”
― Merrill Markoe
“And maybe life isn’t as hard as it seems to be
Every day could be a mess , but darling, you see
One of the few places you will always find peace
Owes its breeze to the constant chaos in the sea…”
― Sanhita Baruah

I adore the shot of Ben’s ears flapping in the wind and Simon’s ears flying while running.

They are real cuties alright, Ben is a gentle giant and Simon is an energetic, tightly wound packet of dynamite. 🙂
