My photographic style is relaxed and natural and I’m all about about capturing authentic emotions and real moments. During your photo session I use guidance more than static posing. I like to guide my couples into a pose, let it unfold naturally and then document it with my camera.
Don’t worry, I’m very bossy and I’ll tell you exactly what I need you to do, I use games, questions and activities to help you interact naturally with each other. Sometimes I’ll step back to get more photo-journalistic type images and other times I’ll come in really close for more intimate photos, my goal is to capture what makes your relationship special and unique.
In order to make the most of your session I need to know a little bit more about you guys, so please complete the questionnaire below as soon as you can. Once it’s completed, simply click the SUBMIT button at the bottom and it’ll be winging it’s way to me in no time.
Remember there are no right or wrong answers and you can be as elaborate or brief as you like with your answers.
Another thing to consider for your session (not a must but a consideration) that would really take it to the next level and make it more intimate, would be to write a love letter to your partner telling them how thrilled you are that they are the ones sharing this beautiful collaboration of parenting with you.
Write a letter telling your loved one you know that making a human together, bringing a new life into the world and accepting the responsibility of everything that goes along with being a parent is scary. You’re scared too.
Also tell them that it’s okay, you know they are going to be the best parents they can be. Sure there’s a huge learning curve ahead, there’ll be mistakes and tough times but there’ll also be laughter, love and good times but most of all you’ll be doing it together!
Anything special and significant about having this baby together, would be the perfect way of telling him/her how very much you love them and should make for some genuinely beautiful reactions and photographs.
Don’t be shy about what you write in your letter, I’m not going to hear most of it anyway as you’re going to read it very softly to your partner. Just remember to bring it with you to the session!
