When you book your Personal Brand Session with me it's important to understand that a Personal Brand is just that, PERSONAL and adding images with a personal element or story is vital for connecting with your customers or audience. We really want to show the human being behind the business, show what you do when you're not working. Yoga, reading books, painting, training your dog or perhaps you're a busy mom juggling home and work life.⁠

Keep your promises⁠

When photographing a Personal Branding Session I always try to include a few behind the scenes images of the product being made or the services being performed.⁠

During a newborn shoot, it's important to get those sibling images done as quickly as possible, you can only hold a toddlers attention for a short amount of time and then they are done!⁠

Baby burrito anyone? I always try to get at least one adorable baby burrito headshot during a newborn shoot. How about this little guy's hair though? His mama's convinced it's all that beautiful hair that caused her so much pregnancy heartburn!⁠

One of the questions I ask during a family Session is, "Who has the stinkiest feet?" it normally ends up being the poor Daddy or Granddad but the kids really enjoy the tomfoolery and it gets everyone relaxed and laughing.⁠

If you can't get your clients to relax and trust you, it'll be obvious in the resulting images.⁠

During your Personal Branding Session, make sure your photographer includes at least one headshot of you looking directly into the camera lens and smiling warmly. This image is excellent for "About Me" pages on your website, social media profiles and printed material.⁠
