A train going nowhere

Last week Terry and I took a drive to Santos Beach, Mossel Bay to have a look at the Santos Express which is a genuine train that has been converted into a lodge with all the compartments facing the sea.  Excellent for back packers or childrens sleep over parties, it also boasts a restaurant aptly named the Fork ‘n Train.  Here are my images from that morning.

I got the inspiration for my blog title from a catchy tune by the Holmes Brothers called “There’s a train going nowhere”, you can listen to it here.  If you like trains and enjoy poetry, pop on over to Terry’s blog and read his poem called “The Royal Visit”.

Till next time, stay cool

All my love
